  1. Felix Sater emails Michael Cohen about Trump Tower Moscow, saying, 

“Buddy our boy can become President of the USA and we can engineer it. I will get all of Putins team to buy in on this, I will manage this process. . . . Michael, Putin gets on stage with Donald for a ribbon cutting for Trump Moscow, and Donald owns the republican nomination. And possibly beats Hillary and our boy is in. . . . We will manage this process better than anyone. You and I will get Donald and Vladimir on a stage together very shortly. That the game changer. Donald doesn’t stare down, he negotiates and understands the economic issues and Putin only want to deal with a pragmatic leader, and a successful business man is a good candidate for someone who knows how to negotiate. “Business, politics, whatever it all is the same for someone who knows how to deal.

  1. Michael Cohen talks with a top level Russian exec, Dmitry Klokov on at least one phone call and several emails. Klokov states he can provide “political synergy” and “synergy on a government level” for the campaign. He claims he can facilitate a meeting between Trump and Putin. (Mueller Report Page 73)

  1. Long-Time Senate staffer Barbara Leeden emails investment advisor Peter Smith with interest on the Clinton emails. The email read: 

“Here is the proposal I briefly mentioned to you. The person I described to you would be happy to talk with you either in person or over the phone. The person can get the emails which 1. Were classified and 2. Were purloined by our enemies. That would demonstrate what needs to be demonstrated.” (Mueller Report Page 62)


16th:


  1. Peter Smith declines to join Barbara Leeden’s crusade to find the emails. (Mueller Report Page 62)


19th:


  1. Felix Sater emails Michael Cohen about visiting Moscow, saying, “Please call me I have Evgeney [Dvoskin] on the other line. He needs a copy of your and Donald’s passports they need a scan of every page of the passports. Invitations & Visas will be issued this week by VTB Bank to discuss financing for Trump Tower Moscow. Politically neither Putins office nor Ministry of Foreign Affairs cannot issue invite, so they are inviting commercially/ business. VTB is Russia’s 2 biggest bank and VTB Bank CEO Andrey Kostin, will be at all meetings with Putin so that it is a business meeting not political.   1. Michael Cohen emails Dmitry Peskov, Russian Press Secretary, indicating he wanted to get in contact with Putin’s chief of staff. The email did not go through, as Cohen misspelled Peskov’s email address.(Mueller Report Page 74) 

14th: 


  1. Michael Cohen, as an executive vice president for the Trump Organization, emails Peskov's press office seeking assistance with the proposed Trump Tower Moscow.

Dear Mr. Peskov,

Over the past few months, I have been working with a company based in Russia regarding the development of a Trump Tower-Moscow project in Moscow City. Without getting into lengthy specifics, the communication between our two sides has stalled. As this project is too important, I am hereby requesting your assistance. I respectfully request someone, preferably you; contact me so that I might discuss the specifics as well as arranging meetings with the appropriate individuals. I thank you in advance for your assistance and look forward to hearing from you soon. (Mueller Report Page 74) 

20th: 


  1. Michael Cohen receives an email from Peskov’s personal assistant, who had been trying to communicate with him, and asked him to call her personal number. They talked for 20 minutes, describing his position in the Campaign and about Trump Tower Moscow. (Mueller Report Page 75) 


30th:

  1. Carter Page emails senior Trump campaign members, saying “"spent the past week in Europe and had been in discussions with some individuals with close ties to the Kremlin" who recognized that Trump could have a "game-changing effect .. . in bringing the end of the new Cold War." (Mueller Report Page 98) 


February: 


10th:


  1. IRA internally circulates an outline of themes for future content to be posted to IRA-controlled social media accounts. Specialists were instructed to post content that focused on “politics in the USA” and to “use any opportunity to criticize Hillary and the rest (except Sanders and Trump—we support them).” (IRA Indictment, Page 17)


March:


Sometime in early March: 

  1. Jerome Corsi becomes a self described “Operative” for Stone, seeking to assist the Trump Campaign in a personal capacity. (Mueller Report Page 54)

  1. Papadopoulos meets Joseph Mifsud, a london based Professor. (Mueller Report Page 83) 


14th:


  1. CNI Board member Richard Pleper organizes a luncheon for CNI honorary chairman Henry Kissinger, which is attended by Jared Kushner (Mueller Report Page 104) 

15th: 

  1. Ivan Sergeyevich Yermakov runs a technical query for DNC's internet protocol configurations to identify connected devices. Then, he searched for open source information on Hillary Clinton, the DNC network, and the Democratic Party. (Mueller Indictment Page 8)

16th:

  1. WikiLeaks released a searchable archive of approximately 30,000 Clinton emails that had been obtained through FOIA litigation. (Mueller Report Page 44) 


19th: 

  1. Aleksey Viktorovich Lukashev sends a spearfishing email to Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta. Using account @john356gh, he altered his email to appear as a security notification from Google to change passwords. Podesta was fooled.  (Mueller Indictment Page 6)
  2. On the same day, they also sent multiple spearphishing emails to other campaign staff.  (Mueller Indictment Page 6)

21st:

  1. Lukashev and the IRA steal 50 thousand emails from Podesta.  (Mueller Indictment Page 6)
  2. George Papadopoulos is named foreign policy advisor to the Trump campaign. (Mueller Report Page 84) 
  3. Carter Page is named foreign policy advisor to the Trump campaign. (Mueller Report Page 98) 

23rd: 


  1. Jeff Sessions attends CNI’s distinguished service award dinner, where he was seated next to Sergey Kislyak. (Mueller Report Page 107) 

24th: 


  1. George Papadopoulos meets again with Joseph Mifsud, who this time brings a former student with alleged ties to Putin. (Mueller Report Page 85) 
  2. After this meeting, Papadopoulos sent an email to members of the Trump campaign foreign policy team, with the subject "Meeting with Russian leadership-- including Putin."  (Mueller Report Page 85) 

25th:

  1. Lukashev sends out more spearphishing emails to Clinton campaign staff.  (Mueller Indictment Page 7)

28th: 

  1. Lukashev and Yermakov successfully steals thousands more emails from Clinton Campaign staff. (Mueller Indictment Page 7)
  2. Paul Manafort is named Convention Manager by the Trump Campaign (Mueller Report Page 134) 

30th: 


  1. Paul Manafort instructs Rick Gates to pen separate memoranda to four pro-Russian Ukrainian oligarchs/ opposition bloc members, which describe his appointment to the campaign, and his willingness to consult on Ukrainian politics in the future.  (Mueller Report Page 135) 


April:

Somewhere around April

  1. IRA begins to plan when to leak the material. (Mueller Indictment Page 8-9)
  2. IRA installs multiple versions of their X-Agent malware on at least ten DCCC computers. X-Agent transmitted information from the victims' computers to a GRU-leased server located in Arizona. IRA referred to this server as their "AMS" panel. (Mueller Indictment Page 8-9)

6th: 

  1. Lukashev creates an email with a one letter difference from a known staffer of the campaign, and uses it to hack around 30 more staffers. (Mueller Indictment Page 7)

7th: 

  1. Yermakov runs a technical query for the DCCC's internet protocol configurations to identify connected devices. (Mueller Indictment Page 8)

Around the 12th:

  1. After a few days of Yermakov's searches regarding the DCCC, the IRA hacked into the DCCC computer network. After gaining access, the group installed X-Agent and X-Tunnel to explore the network and steal data.(Mueller Indictment Page 8)

11th:

  1. Paul Manafort emails Konstantin Kilimnik to see if the memoranda he penned for the four Ukrainian Oligarchs (“our friends”) had been sent. Kilimnik replied, “Absolutely. Every article.” (Mueller Report Page 135) 

12th:

  1. IRA uses the stolen credentials of a DCCC Employee to access the DCCC network..(Mueller Indictment Page 8)
  2. George Papadopoulos and Joseph Mifsud meet again at the Andaz Hotel in London, presumably to discuss George’s wish to engage with the Russian Federation. (Mueller Report Page 88) 


  14th:


  1. IRA activated X-Agent's keylog and screenshot functions to surveil the hacked DCCC Employee’s computer activity over the course of eight hours. During that time, the Conspirators captured the DCCC Employee's communications with co-workers and the passwords she entered while working on fundraising and voter outreach projects.  (Mueller Indictment Page 9).
  2. GRU officers download rar.exe onto the DCCC's document server. (Mueller Report Page 40) 


15th:


  1. IRA searches a hacked DCCC computer for keywords “Clinton”, “Cruz”, and “Trump”. They also copied folders labeled “Benghazi Investigations”. (Mueller Indictment Page 10)


18th:


  1. IRA hacks DNC through the DCCC connection, using a DCCC employee’s account who had access to the DNC network. Around this time, they install X-Agent onto DNC computers. (Mueller Indictment Page 10)
  2. Joseph Mifsud introduced George Papadopoulos to Ivan Timofeev, a member of the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC). (Mueller Report Page 88) 


19th: 

  1. Kozachek and Yershov configured an overseas computer to relay communications between X-Agent malware and the AMS panel and then tested X-Agent's ability to connect to this computer. The IRA referred to this computer as a "middle server." The middle server acted as a proxy to obscure the connection between malware at the DCCC and the AMS panel. (Mueller Indictment Page 9)
  2. After attempting to register the domain electionleaks.com, the IRA register the domain dcleaks.com through a service that anonymizes the registrant. (Mueller Indictment Page 13) (Mueller Report Page 41) 

20th:

  1. IRA directs X-Agent on the DCCC computers to connect to this middle server and receive directions from them. (Mueller Indictment Page 10)
  2. Felix Sater emails Cohen in regards to a potential trip to Russia, “[t]he People wanted to know when you are coming?” (Mueller Report Page 77) 

22nd: 


  1. IRA activates X-Agent's keylog and screenshot functions to capture information about campaign finances, as well as the hacked employee's personal banking information. (Mueller Indictment Page 9)
  2. IRA compress gigabytes of data, then uses X-Tunnel to funnel the stolen data to a GRU-leased computer in Illinois (Mueller Indictment Page 11) (Mueller Report Page 40) 

25th:

  1. George Papadopoulos emails Stephen Miller, saying, “[t]he Russian government has an open invitation by Putin for Mr. Trump to meet him when he is ready,” and that “[t]he advantage of being in London is that these governments tend to speak a bit more openly in ‘neutral’ cities.” (Mueller Report Page 89) 


26th:


  1. Joseph Mifsud meets with George Papadopoulos again in the Andaz hotel in London, where he says he has learned the Russian government has “dirt” on Hillary Clinton in the form of thousands of emails. (Mueller Report Page 89) 

27th:


  1. George again emails Stephen Miller, saying, “Some interesting messages [were] coming in from Moscow about a trip when the time is right.” (Mueller Report Page 89) 


28th:


  1. IRA connected to and tested the same computer located in Illinois. Later that day, the IRA used X-Tunnel to connect to that computer to steal additional documents from the DCCC network.  (Mueller Indictment Page 11)

May: 


Sometime around May:

  1. DNC and DCCC discover they’ve been hacked, and hire CrowdStrike, a cybersecurity company, to investigate. (Mueller Indictment Page 12)
  2. Papadopoulos indicates to a representative of a foreign government that Russia told the Trump campaign it could help by anonymously releasing Clinton campaign files after his meeting with London Professor Joseph Mifsud. (Mueller Report Page 81) 


4th: 

  1. Felix Sater emails Cohen about the Russia trip again. “I had a chat with Moscow. ASSUMING the trip does happen the question is before or after the convention. I said I believe, but don't know for sure, that’s it’s probably after the convention. Obviously the pre-meeting trip (you only) can happen anytime you want but the 2 big guys where [sic] the question. I said I would confirm and revert. . . . Let me know about If I was right by saying I believe after Cleveland and also when you want to speak to them and possibly fly over.” (Mueller Report Page 77) 
  2. Cohen responds, “My trip before Cleveland. Trump once he becomes the nominee after the convention.” (Mueller Report Page 77) 
  3. George Papadopoulos forwards an email from Ivan Timofeev, a member of the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC), raising the possibility of a meeting in Moscow. (Mueller Report Page 89) 


5th:

  1. Sater emails Cohen, inviting him. “Peskov would like to invite you as his guest to the St. Petersburg Forum which is Russia’s Davos it’s June 16-19. He wants to meet there with you and possibly introduce you to either Putin or Medvedev, as they are not sure if 1 or both will be there. This is perfect. The entire business class of Russia will be there as well. He said anything you want to discuss including dates and subjects are on the table to discuss. (Mueller Report Page 77) 
  2. George Papadopoulos forwards the same email from Timofeev to Sam Clovis. (Mueller Report Page 89) 


6th: 

  1. Cohen replies to Sater, “works for me” (Mueller Report Page 77) 
  2. George Papadopoulos tells the-then Greek Foreign Minister that the Trump Campaign had received indications from the Russian government that it could assist the Campaign through the anonymous release of information that would be damaging to candidate Clinton.(Mueller Report Page 81) (Mueller Report Page 89)

  1. Paul Manafort meets with Konstantin Klimnik in New York City (Mueller Report Page 138)

  1. George Papadopoulos sends the Timofeev email to Paul Manafort with the title, “Request from Russia to meet Mr. Trump”. “...Russia has been eager to meet Mr. Trump for quite sometime and have been reaching out to me to discuss” (Mueller Report Page 89-90) 
  2. Paul Manafort forwards the email to another campaign official, not including Papadopoulos, saying, “Let[’]s discuss. We need someone to communicate that [Trump] is not doing these trips. It should be someone low level in the Campaign so as not to send any signal.” (Mueller Report Page 90) 

25th:


  1. IRA hacks the DNC Microsoft Exchange Server and stole thousands of emails from the work accounts of DNC employees. (Mueller Indictment Page 11)
  2. Yermakov researches PowerShell commands related to accessing and managing the Microsoft Exchange Server. (Mueller Indictment Page 11)


29th:

  1. IRA arranges for a person to stand in front of the White House, with a sign reading "Happy Birthday Dear Boss" as an homage to Prigozhin. Prigozhin's 55th birthday was on June 1st, 2016.  (Mueller Report Page 19) 

30th: 

  1. Malyshev accesses the AMS panel in order to upgrade custom AMS software on the server. That day, the AMS panel receives updates from approximately thirteen different X-Agent implants on DCCC and DNC computers. (Mueller Indictment Page 11)


31st:


  1. Yermakov searches for open-source information about CrowdStrike and its reporting on X-Agent and X-Tunnel. (Mueller Indictment Page 12)


June: 

Sometime around June:

  1. IRA contacts a person affiliated with Texas-based grassroots organization. The person advises them to direct focus on purple states, like Colorado, Virginia, and Florida. (IRA Indictment, Page 13) 
  2. IRA uses “United Muslims for America” page to promote a rally called “Support Hillary. Save American Muslims”, held on July 9th. (IRA Indictment, Page 21) 
  3. IRA purchases advertisements on Facebook to promote the “March for Trump” and “Down with Hillary” rallies. (IRA Indictment, Page 21) 
  4. CrowdStrike takes steps to kick out the IRA from DNC and DCCC computers. (Mueller Indictment Page 12)
  5. Kovalev begins researching domains used by US state board of elections, secretaries of state, and other election-related website for vulnerabilities. They also search for state political party emails. (Mueller Indictment Page 25) 

1st: 

  1. IRA creates and purchases Facebook advertisements for their “March for Trump” rally. (IRA Indictment, Page 25) 
  2. IRA attempts to delete traces of their presence on the DCCC network using the computer program CCleaner. (Mueller Indictment Page 12)

3rd:


  1. Robert Goldstone emails Trump Jr, saying - 


"Good morning, Emin just called and asked me to contact you with something very interesting. The crown prosecutor of Russia met with his father Aras this morning and in their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father. This is obviously a very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government's support for Mr Trump - helped along by Aras and Emin. 

What do you think is the best way to handle this information and would you be able to speak to Emin about it directly? 

I can also send this info to your father via Rhona, but it is ultra sensitive so wanted to send to you first.

4th: 

  1. IRA use allforusa@yahoo.com, the email address of a false U.S. persona, to send out press releases for the “March for Trump” rally to New York media outlets. (IRA Indictment, Page 25)

5th:

  1. IRA.posing as a U.S. grassroots activist, uses the account @March_for_Trump to contact a volunteer for the Trump Campaign in New York. The volunteer agrees to provide signs for the “March for Trump” rally. (IRA Indictment, Page 21) 


6th: 


  1. Emin Agalarov messages Robert Goldstone, asking for an update on the meeting with DJT Jr. Goldstone tells him that Jr is still traveling for the last stretch of the primaries, and Trump would be made the official nominee soon. Goldstone then emails Trump Jr and asks when he would be free to talk with Emin about the Hillary info. Jr responds that they could “speak now”. Goldstone arranges the call, and on the 6th and 7th, Jr and Emin talk multiple times. (Mueller Report Page 113)

7th:


  1. Goldstone emails Trump Jr, asking “Emin asked that I schedule a meeting with you and [t]he Russian government attorney who is flying over from Moscow.” when Jr replied that the “boss of the campaign” Paul Manafort would be attending, as well as Kushner, Goldstone was surprised. (Mueller Report Page 114)

8th:


  1. IRA launches the public website dcleaks.com, which they used to release stolen emails. They falsely claimed on the site that DCLeaks was started by a group of "American hacktivists". (Mueller Indictment Page 13)
  2. IRA create a DCLeaks Facebook page using a preexisting social media account under the fictitious name "Alice Donovan." In addition to the DCLeaks Facebook page, the IRA used other social media accounts in the names of fictitious U.S. persons such as "Jason Scott" and "Richard Gingrey" to promote the DCLeaks website.   3. IRA creates twitter account @dcleaks_ . (Mueller Indictment Page 14)


9th: 


  1. Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya meets with Jared Kushner, Paul Manafort, and DJT Jr in Trump Tower. (Mueller Report Page 110) 
  2. Felix Sater messages Michael Cohen a notice that the badges for the St Petersburg conference are being finalized, and adds that Putin will be there, with a very strong chance of the two meeting. (Mueller Report Page 78) 

12th:

  1. Felix Sater forwards the invitation to the Forum, as well as a Russian visa application, to Cohen. Cohen decides not to go, claiming that he believed Russian officials weren’t actually involved. (Mueller Report Page 78)

IRA logs into a Moscow-based server used and managed by Unit 74455 and, between 4:19 PM and 4:56 PM Moscow Standard Time, searches for certain words and phrases, including: "some hundred sheets" , "some hundreds of sheets" , “dcleaks” , illuminati , широко известный перевод [Translation: “widely known”], "worldwide known" , "think twice about" , and "company's competence".   1. Later that day, at 7:02 PM Moscow Standard Time, the online persona Guccifer 2.0 published its first post on a blog site created through WordPress. Titled "DNC's servers hacked by a lone hacker," the post used the same words the IRA had searched for earlier that day (bolded): 


“Worldwide known cyber security company CrowdStrike announced that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) servers had been hacked by "sophisticated" hacker groups. I'm very pleased the company appreciated my skills so highly))) [. . .] Here are just a few docs from many thousands I extracted when hacking into DNC's network. [. . .] Some hundred sheets! This's a serious case, isn't it? [...] I guess CrowdStrike’s customers should think twice about company's competence. F[***] the Illuminati and their conspiracies!!!!!!!!! After several more Skype exchanges with Ivan Timofeev, Papadopoulos emailed Corey Lewandowski on his last day as campaign manager saying the Russian ministry of foreign affairs had contacted him and asked whether, if Mr. Trump could not travel to Russia, a campaign representative such as Papadopoulos could attend meetings. Papadopoulos told Lewandowski that he was “willing to make the trip off the record if it’s in the interest of Mr. Trump and the campaign to meet specific people.”  (Mueller Report Page 90)

The IRA then sent the reporter the password to access a nonpublic, password-protected portion of dcleaks.com containing emails stolen from the DCCC by Lukashev and Yermakov in March. Sometime around July: 

  1. IRA uses the Facebook group “Being Patriotic,” the Twitter account @March_for_Trump, and other false U.S. personas to organize a series of coordinated rallies in Florida. The rallies were collectively referred to as “Florida Goes Trump” and held on August 20, 2016. 
  2. Kovalev hacks a state board of electors website, stealing information from 500 thousand voters. This includes names, addresses, partial socials, dates of birth, and license numbers. (Mueller Indictment Page 26) 


5th:

  1. IRA orders posters for the “Support Hillary. Save American Muslims” rally, including the poster with the quote attributed to Clinton that read “I think Sharia Law will be a powerful new direction of freedom.” (IRA Indictment, Page 25) 
  2. Denis Klimentov emails Maria Zakharova, the Director of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Information and Press Department, saying that he wanted to draw the Russian government’s attention to Page’s visit in Moscow. (Mueller Report Page 99)

  1. Wikileaks messages the Guccifer2.0 account again, saying "if you have anything hillary related we want it in the next tweo [sic] days prefable [sic] because the DNC [Democratic National Convention] is approaching and she will solidify bernie supporters behind her after." The IRA replied, "ok... i see." Wikileaks explained, "we think trump has only a 25% chance of winning against hillary... so conflict between bernie and hillary is interesting."   1. Carter Page delivers the first of two speeches at the NES in Moscow. He criticized the U.S. government's foreign policy toward Russia, stating that "Washington an d other Western capitals have impeded potential progress through their often hypocritical focus on ideas such as democratization, inequality, corruption, and regime change."   1. IRA communicates with a real U.S. person about the posters they had ordered for the “Support Hillary. Save American Muslims” rally. (IRA Indictment, Page 25)

  1. IRA recruits a real U.S. person to hold a sign at their Save American Muslims rally depicting Clinton and a quote attributed to her stating “I think Sharia Law will be a powerful new direction of freedom.” (IRA Indictment, Page 21) 
  2. Page emails Sam Clovis, saying “Russian Deputy Prime minister and NES board member Arkady Dvorkovich also spoke before the event. In a private conversation, Dvorkovich expressed strong support for Mr. Trump and a desire to work together toward devising better solutions in response to the vast range of current international problems. Based on feedback from a diverse array of their sources close to the Presidential Administration, it was readily apparent that this sentiment is widely held at all levels of government.   1.  IRA creates and purchases Facebook advertisements for the “Down With Hillary” rally in New York.  (IRA Indictment, Page 26)

  1. After failed attempts to transfer the stolen documents the IRA, posing as Guccifer 2.0, sent Wikileaks an email with an attachment titled "wk dnc link1.txt.gpg.'. They explained to Wikileaks that the encrypted file contained instructions on how to access an online archive of stolen DNC documents. (Mueller Indictment Page 18)

  2. IRA attempts attempted after hours to spearphish, for the first time, email accounts at a domain hosted by a third-party provider and used by Clinton's personal office.   3. Trump publicly asks Russia to hack Hillary’s emails.

I met today with the guy who gave you your biggest black caviar jar several years ago. We spent about 5 hours talking about his story, and I have several important messages from him to you. He asked me to go and brief you on our conversation. I said I have to run it by you first, but in principle I am prepared to do it. . . . It has to do about the future of his country, and is quite interesting. (Mueller Report Page 138)

  1. FBI opens investigation into whether individuals associated with the Trump Campaign were coordinating with the Russian government in its interference activities. (Mueller Report Page 1)
  2. Konstantin Kilimnik flies back to Kiev from Moscow, emailing Manafort that he needs 2 hours for their meeting, since it is “a long caviar story to tell”. (Mueller Report Page 138)

Sometime around August: 

  1. IRA uses their personas to contact Trump campaign staff involved in community outreach about the “Florida goes Trump” rallies. They also purchase advertisements on social media. They also contact grassroots groups supporting Trump, getting them to agree to attend.  (IRA Indictment, Page 22) 
  2. IRA also asks individuals to perform tasks, such as wearing a costume of Clinton in a prison uniform, and another to build a cage on a flatbed truck, paying them for their services. (IRA Indictment, Page 22) 
  3. Kovalev hacks into the computers of a U.S. vendor that supplied software used to verify voter registration information for the 2016 U.S. elections. Kovalev used some of the same infrastructure to hack into the vendor that they had used to hack into the State board of Electors the previous month. (Mueller Indictment Page 26) 
  4. The FBI issues an alert about the hacking of the State Board of Electors and identified some of the infrastructure that was used to conduct the hacking. In response, Kovalev deletes his search history. Kovalev deletes records from accounts used in their operations targeting state boards of elections and similar election-related entities. (Mueller Indictment Page 26) 
  5. Theodore Malloch and Jerome Corsi have multiple Facetime video calls about Wikileaks and Roger Stone. Corsi tells Malloch that Stone has made contact with Julian Assange, and that Podesta’s emails would be released before the election. Corsi tells Malloch that when the emails are released, they would be “in the driver's seat”. (Mueller Report Page 56) 

2nd:

  1. IRA uses the “Matt Skiber” Facebook account to send a private message to a real Facebook account, “Florida for Trump,” set up to assist then-candidate Trump in the state of Florida. In the first message, the IRA wrote: 


“Hi there! I’m a member of Being Patriotic online community. Listen, we’ve got an idea. Florida is still a purple state and we need to paint it red. If we lose Florida, we lose America. We can’t let it happen, right? What about organizing a YUGE pro-Trump flash mob in every Florida town? We are currently reaching out to local activists and we’ve got the folks who are okay to be in charge of organizing their events almost everywhere in FL. However, we still need your support. What do you think about that? Are you in?  (IRA Indictment, Page 26) 


  1. The IRA uses a stolen identity of a real U.S. person, T.W., sent emails to certain grassroots groups located in Florida that stated in part:


My name is [T.W.] and I represent a conservative patriot community named as “Being Patriotic.” . . . So we’re gonna organize a flash mob across Florida to support Mr. Trump. We clearly understand that the elections winner will be predestined by purple states. And we must win Florida. . . . We got a lot of volunteers in ~25 locations and it’s just the beginning. We’re currently choosing venues for each location and recruiting more activists. This is why we ask you to spread this info and participate in the flash mob.  (IRA Indictment, Page 26-27)

  2. Jerome Corsi messages Roger Stone, saying that Assange has plans for two more drops. (Mueller Report Page 55)

  1. IRA begins purchasing advertisements that promoted a post on the IRA-controlled Facebook account “Stop A.I.” The post alleged that “Hillary Clinton has already committed voter fraud during the Democrat Iowa Caucus.” (IRA Indictment, Page 18)

  1. Roger Stone speaks at an event for the Southwest Broward Republican Organization, saying “I actually have communicated with Assange. I believe the next tranche of his documents pertain to the Clinton Foundation, but there’s no telling what the October surprise may be.” (Mueller Report Page 55)

  1. IRA posts that allegations of voter fraud were being investigated in North Carolina on the IRA-controlled Twitter account @TEN_GOP. (IRA Indictment, Page 19) 

15th:

  1. IRA receives an email at one of their false U.S. persona accounts from a real U.S. person, a Florida-based political activist identified as the “Chair for the Trump Campaign” in a particular Florida county. This person was Susie Wiles. The activist identified two additional sites in Florida for possible rallies. The IRA subsequently used their false U.S. persona accounts to communicate with the activist about logistics and an additional rally in Florida. (IRA Indictment, Page 27) 
  2. IRA receives a request for stolen documents from H Russel Taub. They respond using the Guccifer 2.0 persona and send him stolen documents related to his opponent. (Mueller Indictment Page 16)
  3. IRA writes to Roger Stone "thank u for writing back... do u find anyt[h]ing interesting in the docs i posted?" (Mueller Indictment Page 16)

16th:

  1.  IRA uses a false U.S. persona Instagram account connected to the IRA-created group “Tea Party News” to purchase advertisements for the “Florida Goes Trump” rally. (IRA Indictment, Page 27) 
  2. During an interview with the Blaze, Roger Stone says in regards to his relationship with Assange;  “I had communicated with Mr. Assange,” then adding, “I never said I met with him or that I spoke with him,” but said “we have a mutual acquaintance who is a fine gentleman.” (Interview) (Mueller Report Page 55)

17th:

  1. IRA, using Guccifer2.0, text to Roger Stone, “please tell me if i can help u anyhow...it would be a great pleasure to me.” (Mueller Report Page 44) 
  2. Jared Kushner has another meeting with Dmitiri Simes, where Simes gives Kushner Clinton-related information on ties to Russians, which Simes claims were obtained by an American source. The information given was censored, but was apparently of no use to Kushner, as it was “old news”. (Mueller Report Page 109) 

18th:

  1. The real “Florida for Trump” Facebook account responded to the false U.S. persona “Matt Skiber” account with instructions to contact a member of the Trump Campaign involved in the campaign’s Florida operations and provided the campaign official’s email address at the campaign domain donaldtrump.com. The same day, the IRA used the email address of a false U.S. persona, joshmilton024@gmail.com, to send an email to the campaign official at that donaldtrump.com email account, which read in part: 

“Hello [Campaign Official], [w]e are organizing a state-wide event in Florida on August, 20 to support Mr. Trump. Let us introduce ourselves first. “Being Patriotic” is a grassroots conservative online movement trying to unite people offline. . . . [W]e gained a huge lot of followers and decided to somehow help Mr. Trump get elected. You know, simple yelling on the Internet is not enough. There should be real action. We organized rallies in New York before. Now we’re focusing on purple states such as Florida.” 

The email also identified thirteen “confirmed locations” in Florida for the rallies and requested the campaign provide “assistance in each location.” (IRA Indictment, Page 27-28) 

  1. IRA sends money via interstate wire to another real U.S. person recruited by the IRA, using one of their false U.S. personas, to build a cage large enough to hold an actress depicting Clinton in a prison uniform. (IRA Indictment, Page 28) 

19th:

  1. A supporter of the Trump Campaign sent a message to the IRA-controlled “March for Trump” Twitter account about a member of the Trump Campaign who was involved in the campaign’s Florida operations and provided Campaign Official’s email address at the domain donaldtrump.com. On the same day, the IRA used the false U.S. persona joshmilton024@gmail.com account to send an email to the campaign official at that donaldtrump.com email account.  (IRA Indictment, Page 28) 
  2. The real “Florida for Trump” Facebook account sent another message to the false U.S. persona “Matt Skiber” account to contact a 3rd member of the Trump Campaign involved in the campaign’s Florida operations.   (IRA Indictment, Page 28) 
  3. IRA uses “Matt Skiber” account to write to the real U.S. person affiliated with a Texas-based grassroots organization who previously had advised the false persona to focus on “purple states like Colorado, Virginia & Florida.” Defendants and their co-conspirators told that U.S. person, “We were thinking about your recommendation to focus on purple states and this is what we’re organizing in FL.” The IRA then sent a link to the Facebook event page for the Florida rallies and asked that person to send the information to Tea Party members in Florida. The real U.S. person stated that he/she would share among his/her own social media contacts, who would pass on the information.   (IRA Indictment, Page 29)

  1. IRA uses “Matt Skiber” account to message the 3rd campaign official.  (IRA Indictment, Page 29) 

22nd:


  1. The IRA, posing as Guccifer 2.0, transfers approximately 2.5 gigabytes of data stolen from the DCCC to Aaron Nevins, a registered state lobbyist and online source of political news. The stolen data included donor records and personal identifying information for more than 2,000 Democratic donors. (Mueller Indictment Page 16)
  2. They also send a reporter, Lee Stranahan, stolen documents pertaining to the Black Lives Matter movement. Lee responds by discussing when to release the documents and offering to write an article about their release. (Mueller Indictment Page 16)

IRA updates an internal list of over 100 real U.S. persons contacted through IRA-controlled false U.S. persona accounts and tracked to monitor recruitment efforts and requests.The list included contact information for the U.S. persons, a summary of their political views, and activities they had been asked to perform by Defendants and their co-conspirators.   1. IRA, using a U.S. persona,spoke by telephone with a real U.S. person affiliated with a grassroots group in Florida. That individual requested assistance in organizing a rally in Miami, Florida. (IRA Indictment, Page 29) 
  2. IRA creates and purchases Facebook advertisements for a rally they organized and scheduled in New York for September 11, 2016. (IRA Indictment, Page 30) 

September:


Sometime in September: 

  1. IRA submits budget to Concord, exceeding 73 million Russian Roubles, or 1.25 Million US dollars. (IRA Indictment, Page 7) 
  2. IRA also successfully gains access to DNC computers hosted on a third-party cloud-computing service. These computers contain test applications related to the DNC's analytics. After conducting reconnaissance, the IRA gathered data by creating backups, or "snapshots," of the DNC's cloud-based systems using the cloud provider's own technology. The IRA then moved the snapshots to cloud-based accounts they had registered with the same service, thereby stealing the data from the DNC. (Mueller Indictment Page 13)
  3. Peter Smith, as part of his recruitment and fundraising effort, circulated a document stating that his initiative was “in coordination” with the Trump Campaign, “to the extent permitted as an independent expenditure organization.” (Mueller Report Page 63)

  1. Peter Smith founds KLS Research LLC, with the goal of using it to manage the funds he obtained to find the Clinton emails. (Mueller Report Page 63)

  1. IRA sends the Florida-based grassroots group an interstate wire to pay for materials needed for the Florida rally.  (IRA Indictment, Page 29) 
  2. Through a false U.S. persona, the IRA contacted the real U.S. person who had impersonated Clinton at the West Palm Beach rally. Defendants and their co-conspirators sent that U.S. person money via interstate wire as an inducement to travel from Florida to New York and to dress in costume at another rally they organized. (IRA Indictment, Page 30) 
  3. The IRA messages Roger Stone, and refers to a stolen DCCC document posted online, asking "what do u think of the info on the turnout model for the democrats entire presidential campaign." Stone responded, "[p]retty standard." (Mueller Indictment Page 16)

  1. In an internal review of an IRA-created and controlled Facebook group called “Secured Borders,” the account specialist was criticized for having a “low number of posts dedicated to criticizing Hillary Clinton” and was told “it is imperative to intensify criticizing HillaryClinton” in future posts. (IRA Indictment, Page 17)

  1. Jason Fishbein messages Donald Trump Jr on behalf of wikileaks, sending him the password for putintrump.org. Later that day, Wikileaks sends Jr a DM directly, saying “A PAC run anti-Trump site putintrump.org is about to launch. The PAC is a recycled pro-Iraq war PAC. We have guessed the password. It is ‘putintrump.’ See ‘About’ for who is behind it. Any comments?” (Mueller Report Page 60)
  2. In response to the DM, Jr messages a variety of senior campaign staff, asking “Guys I got a weird Twitter DM from wikileaks. See below. I tried the password and it works and the about section they reference contains the next pic in terms of who is behind it. Not sure if this is anything but it seems like it’s really wikileaks asking me as I follow them and it is a DM. Do you know the people mentioned and what the conspiracy they are looking for could be? These are just screen shots but it’s a fully built out page claiming to be a PAC let me know your thoughts and if we want to look into it. (Mueller Report Page 60)
